Typography

These are my four typography assignments.  There is a six word autobiography, an abstracted pattern, a representational piece, and an expressive piece.

Inspiration

As an artist, I spend a lot of my web stumbling involved in visual stimulation.  Here are some eye candies I've picked up over the week.

I'm always interested in the process of making something and these two are a great pair.  Their styles complement each other very well.

Mr Bokkei
As I said before, I'm into processes.  This person is skilled in markers which is something I need to work on.

Kraak & Smaak

This is just a clever use of flip books.

Oren Lavie
This is a video I found a while ago but is worth sharing.  It's a stop-go animation utilizing bed sheets and other common household objects to illustrate a music video.  Everything is thought out so well, even down to the lighting.
